Joanne is a partner of Ronald Tong & Co. She is a general practitioner with a corporate commercial and intellectual property (IP) emphasis.

​

Joanne has rich experience in a wide range of Hong Kong capital market and corporate finance transactions, including private and public M&As, corporate reorganisation, private and public employee stock ownership plan (ESOP), joint ventures, secured finance, takeovers and reverse takeovers, capital market exits and privatisations. She also advises multinational and domestic corporates as to compliance with Hong Kong laws and the Listing Rules.

Joanne has been representing local and international corporate in non-contentious and contentious intellectual property matters involving trade marks, copyright, designs and other IP rights, including conducting and defending trade mark oppositions and revocation, handling trade mark and copyright disputes and advising IP transactions (such as trademark / copyright / technology license agreements, manufacturing and distributorship agreements, franchise agreements and service agreements relating to provision of software or technology).

Joanne is a Notary Public in Hong Kong. She is one of the contributors to Bullen & Leake & Jacob's Hong Kong Precedents of Pleadings.
